I think that getting pregnant at that age is highly irresponsible but I think that if anyone got into this situation giving solutions is a better alternative to telling them how irresponsible or stupid they think their decision was. First of all, if you got pregnant when a teenager you probably learned the hard way that you should not be having sex at that age without protecting yourself. But from there you would need to make a decision. Should you keep it, abort it, or give it away (like in Juno).
My first point is what if you kept it. That is a lot of responsibility to have a baby at a young age and you will almost certainly have to give up many of your dreams to take care of your new child. Taking care of a child is no easy task and will take up a huge amount of your funds and time to take care of your child. This option is good if you want to fully take responsibility for your actions and believe that you shouldn't abort or give the baby away for adoption. But like I stated earlier, it is a lot of work and will throw your life into a different direction, whether it is a direction you want it to go or not.
The second option I mentioned is abortion. If you are ok with abortion and do not want to have a baby at all (due to whatever reason it may be, personal or medical) you can always go for an abortion if it is legal in your state/province. However if it is illegal for you to get an abortion then it is best to advice against it and go to option one or three since a illegal abortion is most likely dangerous. Luckily though you can have an abortion in the US because of the supreme court case Roe v. Wade but you will need to check your state laws if you would prefer this option over the other two. If you are outside the US then you should probably check your local/province/country laws to see if it is legal. This is going to be a tough decision though like the other two options, but you will not have the burden of taking care of a child (No burden of child care with adoption either). Not everyone agrees that abortion is a good idea but sometimes in a difficult situation you may find that it might be the best option in your situation
The Third option I can come up with is giving the baby away for adoption. This option you will still obviously need to give birth but hand the baby to someone else who wants it. This option is good if you are against abortion and do not think that you can handle taking care of a baby and keep your life on track. This was the option Juno took in the movie and if you think that giving your child away after is born and think that it is the right thing to do then just do it.
My words here are probably not the only options to take and if you are in this tough situation I advise you do further research since we live in a time when that is made easy and find out what is best for you and which way you want to take this situation. This situation can be stressful and bad but hopefully you can learn somethings out of this situation even if it was due to ignorance, negligence, or some other reason.
